JASNA SC is heating up the same with a new program of activities to keep you engaged between trips to the pool and the BBQ buffet. Activities are based on a survey of our members, and all JASNA SC and JASNA members are welcome to join for all or part of the Jane Austen Summer of Fun. We also welcome all Jane Austen fans to have some fun with us this summer!
In addition to reading Jane Austen and Jane-adjacent books, we will have a summer of activities, games, and community. Suggestions for interesting diversions welcome! Email Nikki for info or to make a suggestion

- Annotator David Shapard will be with our group on Tuesday, August 8, from 6:30-8:00 pm to talk about Bath now and in the time of Northanger Abbey.
- JASNA NC member Nancy Martin Young, author of Wit and Prattles, will join us on Thursday, August 10, for a conversation about her book, an extension of the story of other characters from Sense & Sensibility.
- Northanger Abbey movie discussion! Watch on your own and come together on Tuesday, August 15, from 6:30-7:30 pm ET, to discuss and close out our deep dive into Northanger Abbey.
- Our At-Home Scavenger Hunt is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, from 6:30-8:00 pm ET.
- Jane Austen Jeopardy is now scheduled for Sunday, August 20, from 2-4 pm ET. Invite your friends to test their knowledge of our favorite writer and her works!
- We have deleted Pudge & Prejudice from the reading plan and will move on to The Austen Girls instead.
